Computer Music Production Workshop

 

I’m really excited to announce that we will be holding a computer music production & business workshop in KL on Saturday, 1st of June, 2013. To be exact, we’re holding it at Sunway Mentari in in Sunway, Petaling Jaya. It would be the first kind of music production workshop in Malaysia where we will be doing music compositions during the workshop itself on our computer/laptops! Coming to the end of the workshop, you will be guided to upload your compositions to Audiojungle, iTunes via Tunecore, Bandcamp and the sites!

When & Where?

The workshop will be a half day one from 12pm – 6pm. As mentioned, we would like to host the workshop at Sunway Mentari @ Startup Hub.

What Are We Going To Do?

We’re going to compose music & upload them during the session itself, so be prepared to get creative! (though we’ll be pushing your creative juices hard!). Bring your laptop (go borrow one!), your headphones & a midi controller! Will you be the featured composer of the day? We’ll see, during the workshop!

Everything would be guided and you will learn the techniques from composing music on your computer to the tactics that we use when we market & sell music online! There are lots of goodies (softwares, sounds, websites & more!) as well to be given out, something you really wouldn’t want to miss.

We are taking in registrations for the workshop, so if you’re serious about attending, please register and get the early bird price! Each registration seat is at RM50 but register early and you’ll get the price at only RM37. It’s only about 2 weeks before the workshop, so please register quickly! We can only take in a maximum of 20 workshop participants.

Music Production Workshop Malaysia

Although the workshop will only be for the afternoon, we can still do many cool things late evening, eating out or having some drinks while chatting more on the topics that interests all of us after the workshop!
